Family Support Program
Purpose: To walk alongside parents and primary caregivers of children with severe intellectual disabilities by offering emotional, spiritual, and practical support.
Components:
- Support Groups: Monthly gatherings offering a safe, faith-based environment where caregivers can share experiences, pray together, and gain encouragement.
- Care Packs: Thoughtfully prepared seasonal or emergency packs with toiletries, pantry items, sensory toys, and handwritten encouragement notes.
- Respite Care (Planned): A future initiative providing short-term care for children to offer caregivers rest and renewal.
- Annual Group Event: A joyful gathering of all families supported throughout the year—filled with food, activities, and blessing hampers.
Sibling Support Program - Coming Soon
Purpose: To recognize and nurture siblings of children with disabilities, who often feel overlooked or burdened, by creating a space for connection, understanding, and joy.
Components:
- Youth Group: Regular meetups where siblings can build friendships, express their feelings, and grow in confidence.
- Annual Camp: A weekend or overnight experience that includes games, team-building, and counseling opportunities tailored to their unique journey.
